We don't just teach children about creation care — we train them to lead it.
Every program combines biblical discipleship with hands-on environmental science, forming young guardians who act on their faith.
The Problem
Children in Rwanda are growing up watching their hillsides erode and their forests shrink — while attending churches that have nothing to say about it. They inherit degraded land and a theology that treats creation care as someone else's job.
The result is a generation disconnected from both the land and the biblical mandate to tend and keep it.
How We Work
Five interconnected programs that form young conservationists rooted in Scripture.
Eco-Day Camps
Intensive day programs combining outdoor environmental education with Bible teaching. Children learn ecology through hands-on activities while studying Scripture passages on creation stewardship.
Children's Bible Clubs (CBC)
Weekly gatherings where children study what Scripture says about creation, then put it into practice through tree planting, nursery maintenance, and community clean-ups.
School Eco-Clubs
In-school programs that integrate environmental science with faith-based values. Students learn biodiversity, soil science, and water conservation alongside biblical principles of stewardship.
Green Guardians Generation (GGG)
Advanced leadership training for youth ages 14-18 who show exceptional commitment to creation care, preparing them to lead environmental initiatives in their communities.
Tree Planting Days
Community-wide events where children lead tree planting on degraded land, demonstrating that young people can drive measurable environmental restoration.
“I learned that God gave us the earth to take care of. Now I plant trees every week and teach my friends why it matters.”— Grace, age 12, Kigali
